School Of Fish - School Of Fish (1991)

blackcoffeeaddict transmitting from the cardboard box:

A few years back, I was given this CD by a friend of mine who was cleaning out his music collection. It looked interesting, so I went ahead and picked it up. I listened to it and it immediately became one of my favorite albums. The three-song suite that kicks off the album is well-composed, and like every song on the album, it communicates a feeling as much as it communicates a story. "Three Strange Days," "King Of The Dollar," and "Fell" are probably my favorite songs, but the whole album is a cohesive sound and a neat experience.

The band was only around for about 5 years, and only released two albums, making this a rather rare find, and I feel like it's something of a privilege to share it with you all.

I love this album because of the guitar textures, the well thought-out lyrical composition, and the overall feel of the band/album. It's always worth a listen.
